The new Amir of MSSN OAU, Sanusi AbdulMalik, was at Awolowo Hall on Friday morning (20--12--2019) to observe Fajr prayer... Whilst he gave out his sermon, he reiterated that unity of Muslims should not be compromised and crucified on account of different scholarly opinions on religion matters.
During his sermon, Amir Sanusi called for mutual respect and love among Muslims students on campus. He emphasized that mutual respect will accommodate our differences and strengthen the Muslim community against unbelievers ploy to harm Muslims.
On a note of warning, Amir called the attention of the congregation to the deceit of Shaytan (Devil) which is to ensnare and bewitch the Ummah in eternal doom. He warned that Muslims must forsake envy and hatred in their actions with their neighbors.
On a final note, he urged the congregation to work for the unification of Muslim students and discard all forms of self-purification and supremacy of ideology that are dominant among the young folks.
