Following the expiration of Mallam Kamoru Sodiq led-executive of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Obafemi Awolowo University Branch Ile-Ife, a new executives has been appointed to sail the ship of the society for 2019/2020 session.
This was disclosed by Mallam Lukman Raji, Public Relations Officer of the society stating that the new MSSN OAU, Amir, is Mall Sanusi Abdulmaleek, A Postgraduate student studying Biochemistry.
According to the statement, the Shurah (The Supreme Electoral Committee) chaired by Mallam Raji Saheed, in consultation with all organs of the society announced the new leadership.
"The Shoora' Commitee saddled with the responsibility of screening and appointing new executives for the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Branch releases the new names of those that would pilot the affairs of Muslim students in the university after the nominated students undergone screening .
In a congratulatory message, One of the staff advisers, Mrs. M.I Nasir (The Director of Computer Center, OAU) advised the newly inaugurated executive to remain focus and abide by the constitution of the Society.
OAU Muslim Community enjoined the new executives to come up with programme of activities aimed at improving the spiritual and academic status of the students.
