And the cock crowed, crying like the town-crier, announcing the morn. The morn many minds— mild and mature, would have chosen as their “mourn-day” if a pair of eyes has forlent to the torment of death.

And when in view was still the noon on this auspicious day, having vowed to swoon and remain like the horse looking like a fool at the frontispiece of a book, forever and a day, bachelorhood had no option than to throw in the towel— to be laid to rest.

Journeying from every nook and corner of the world, the ground  suffered from the stampede of feet. The air couldn’t hold its laughter seeing the sheer number of the smiling  teeth. The counter itself lost the count of the headcounts. Every eye could espy the beauties embedded in well-mannerism.

Yes! Our Brother finally made a brave decision— to walk down the aisle and spend the rest of his days with the “chosen one”, through thick and thin ; through thread and thrum. His agbada could be seen dancing to the breeze of air. His pair of shoes could be heard beating the floor as if it was a drum. Flashes of elegance, whee & glee and the joy of being a married man were seen marring and bashing the bashfulness, on his face, till it waned to wee/zero level.

Mouths clanged as the comestibles suffered from the hard hit of teeth. Foams of soup were seen smiling on the clothes of bodies. Indeed, this day has brought to hands, a lot of toys to play with. Óti já sí Àmàlà àti ewédú.

Indeed! Nikkah gives a new lease of life. May yours be a steppingstone to greater height. May yours be amongst the best. May yours never be the end in the family of MSSNOAU.
