MSSN OAU AMIR LEADS Solatul Fajr in Fajuyi Hall and Awolowo Hall, Admonishes Unity among Muslim Students.
The new Amir of MSSN OAU, Sanusi Malik, earlier today, leads Fajr(dawn) congregational prayer at the Fajuyi Hall and Awolowo Hall prayer ground and admonished the Muslim students to work for unity of all Muslims on campus irrespective of the differences in ideological inclination.
The Amir further stressed that disunity among Muslims a great disservice to our existence as one Ummah (nation) within campus and beyond campus life.
While emphasizing the importance of good character among Muslims in the university as cited by Allah (Glory be He) in the Holy Quran, he advised the Muslim brethren to Co-habitate with their neighbors with good character as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) during his lifetime.
He reminded the congregation that good character and morals to Muslims and Non-Muslims are viable instruments of Da'wah.
In conclusion, the Amir beseeched Allah to grant all students an outstanding success and admonished them to shun any form of examination malpractice.
While receiving him with great enthusiasm, the congregation who could not hide their joy expressed their pleasure in having Amir in their midst and used the event to pledge their support and allegiance to the new Amir.
The New Amir also charged them to forget the past and work for the progress of Islam on campus and the university community at large.
